We need volunteers to
- help with the Resource Centre
- help with the gift shop whenever we have events
- conduct tours of the Rumah Penghulu (training will be provided)
- help us prepare a transcript in several international languages of the Rumah Penghulu for use by visitors
- assist with our education programmes
- undertake research for our rural heritage directory
- update our existing heritage trail pamphlets, and research new ones for Brickfields, Kampong Baru and a special Merdeka Trail
- conduct heritage trails in KL, Klang and Malacca
- translate articles into English, and scan Chinese or Malay language newspapers for relevant items
If you volunteer for more than 50 hours every six months, you will enjoy a host of benefits such as:
